Gaining Ground

Seven weeks ago, Able Ebenezer threw open the bay door to our Tasting Room and welcomed the first of what is now thousands of guests to try our line of revolutionary craft beers. Mike, our Brewer, has since brewed thousands of gallons of beer and introduced our fourth label, Emma Wood, to tasting room visitors.

The entire Able Ebenezer team has worked hard to meet the extraordinary demand that we’ve seen since opening day. In our first weekend alone, we sold six fluid barrels (almost 1000 gallons!) of beer and two large pallets of growlers, far exceeding our wildest hopes and dreams. Merrimack and the surrounding communities are a thirsty bunch. We love it! Thank you!

We’ve received a lot of excellent feedback since then. The most significant of this was the issue of serving pints of beer in our Tasting Room. The room was designed to be an inviting and welcoming space, and we heard everyone’s feedback loud and clear. We worked with the Town of Merrimack and the New Hampshire Liquor Commission to upgrade our liquor license accordingly. Over the Independence Day weekend, we poured our first pints of beer. There have been many more small improvements that we’ve made thanks to your feedback.

There is always room for improvement. That’s why I am challenging everyone reading this today to let us know what you love, and what you may not love, about the Able Ebenezer experience, or what you’d be excited to see us do.

There are a few ways you can do this. We love reviews on social media- Facebook, Foursquare, Untappd, Google, and Yelp to name a few. Direct feedback is also welcome through a Facebook message, email (you can email me directly at zachary.rand@ableebenezer.com), or a phone call (my direct line is 603-261-2076). We look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I also want to use this opportunity to share our latest change that stems from your feedback. Starting Monday, August 11, the Able Ebenezer Tasting Room will open seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, as well as Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8:00pm. With this, those of you with growlers will no longer have to wait until Wednesday to quench your thirst after a weekend of making great memories drinking Able Ebenezer with your friends and family.
