A local boy the New Hampshire community, Max has circulated in an out the area for years before settling back in the Granite State. He studied Music at Northeastern University. After graduation, in 2016, he went into the non-profit sector, doing work for a number of New Hampshire based organizations that leveraged music and art for the betterment of the local community.

For most that time, Max also started working at Able as the brewery’s apprentice, learning many of the little odds and ends associated with the brewing process. His three-month apprenticeship turned into a yearlong endeavor with the company, ultimately leading to him becoming a fully integrated member of the Able Team.

Max also holds a Masters in New Media Communication from Southern New Hampshire University and works to incorporate his advanced degree into the outward strategy of the Able Ebenezer brand. He is also an elite road cyclist, who races all over the Northeast for Green Line Velo driven by Zipcar and can be seen pedaling around the New Hampshire area when he’s not at the brewery (ask about the time he raced in China, it’s a good story).
