Victory nor Defeat

VnD is what we once dreamed a beer could be, and serves as an homage to those who scoff at the critics and enter the arena. Well over a year was spent balancing and perfecting the design, which requires a great deal of care, attention to detail, and healthy dosing of 5 different hops introduced at several addition points. The result is a beer full of bold malts & citrusy, fruity hop flavors, yet balanced, clean & smooth blend from start to finish. It is perfect.

Victory Nor Defeat is not intended to represent what an IPA currently is; it represents what an IPA should be.

Auburn

AMERICAN RED ALE | 4.5% ABV

One of our firm beliefs: Never forget where you came from.

As individuals, we came from all over; as a company, we came from a small cabin out in the woods of Auburn NH. 

This red ale focuses on roasted specialty malts to give it a deep ruby-colored hue. Its exceptionally smooth, crisp and satisfying taste makes it a welcome alternative to the strong, bitter ales many have come to dislike about craft beer. Designed to be a beer you can drink all day. Yes, even pairs perfectly with breakfast (verified by our own R&D).


BROAD ARROW

INDIA PALE ALE | 6.5% ABV

This IPA is named after the symbol we - as independent Americans - took back.

The King's Broad Arrow was one of the key contributors to the American Revolution, being stamped, carved & branded into everything the King laid claim to in the colonies; especially Pine Trees. 

A robust malt profile combined with three varieties of hops creates an easy drinking India Pale Ale full of balanced, easy-drinking flavor.

Kilgore

COFFEE PORTER | 5.0% ABV

"Kilgore Trout once wrote a short story which was a dialogue between two pieces of yeast. They were discussing the possible purposes of life as they ate sugar and suffocated in their own excrement. Because of their limited intelligence, they never came close to guessing that they were making champagne."

Developed by our own Jake Felton, Kilgore is the product of our partnership with A&E Custom Coffee Roastery, combining their Papua New Guinea roast with chocolate malts and a light touch of hops.

Not heavy like other traditional porters, Kilgore is as light and easy drinking as a glass of iced coffee.

EMMA WOOD

SUMMER WHEAT ALE | 5.0% ABV

Who is Emma Wood?

Emma isn't a who, it's a place; a beach in California - the place our Head Brewer, Mike, told his family he was leaving home to build a brewery. As they celebrated, drinking this ale around the fire, they all chose to name her after the beach.

Light, clean & crisp, this refreshing summer ale is brewed with white wheat, orange peel & a healthy dose of hops. The bold, citrusy flavor makes her perfect on NH's hot, humid summer days.

Homecoming

HARVEST PUMPKIN ALE | 6.0% ABV

Many in New England sent grains to the front lines during the American Revolution, forcing them to use other fermentables to make beer. Pumpkins quickly became the prime choice.

A true seasonal, in that the primary ingredient is only available one time of the year. Each batch contains over 250lbs of Sugar Pumpkins locally harvested at Sunnycrest Farm (Londonderry, NH), and roasted at New England's Tap House Grille (Hooksett, NH). Barely hopped & spiced, this ale places pumpkin - not cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, etc - as the predominant flavor. To us, this ale embodies togetherness & celebration...like coming home.

Please, no cinnamon/sugar rims.

TABULA RASA

APRICOT AMBER ALE | 7.5% ABV

In the late 1600's, John Locke had a "crazy" idea: maybe we're all born with the same blank mind, and it's our life experiences that truly define who we are. At the time, this was a radical idea, as one's bloodline was thought to be the key factor in determining defining one's life (ie: Divine Right of Kings). He coined the term "Tabula Rasa;" Latin for "Blank Slate."

He then fled England, banished for his thoughts. His idea, however, grew to inspire our Founding Fathers, resulting in the American Revolution.

An Amber style ale that is delicately balanced with caramel, honey and fruit flavors that give it a strong, pronounced amber color. It is designed to confuse the senses while warming the soul. Tabula Rasa is in a category all its own.
